Editorial by Walter Thieme: Saving time?

(mud) - Sometimes the venues for exhibitions are tourist delights. Certainly this is true of the of 13 held to 17 October 2015 "FAKUMA" exhibition. The trade fair for plastics processing will take place in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. Unfortunately, for both exhibitors and visitors is often no time to enjoy the beauties of the respective (holiday) right region. That could change due to "time savings" by now.

Because time for 2015er "Fakuma" operators have shortened by changing the opening hours of the fair days during the week by one hour. All to the saying of "Who comes early, should also be able to go back soon."

Perhaps one could say also, the "FAKUMA" adapts to the on "Nine-to-Five" clocked workplace. Stand personnel will perhaps accept gratefully. Now, the opening times are thus: Tuesday to Friday from 9am bis 5pm hours and on Saturday from 9am bis 3pm hours.

The remaining family members can pick up the exhibition moved Dad's / Mum's from the fair and then spend together the (remaining) weekend at Lake Constance on Saturday.

One might ask if the "half day of the fair on Saturday" are not a concession to the tourism businesses in the region, even more tourists to lure in the region but also - so, to say the economy: a 'win-win' situation created ...

Maybe we will meet
at Lake Constance?
